You pass this lovely, inviting cafe and decide to go in. Once seated, your server greets you and introduces herself.
She asks you what you would like to drink and eat, yet you have not seen the menu yet. So, you ask to see the menu.
Your server responds, “We don’t have a menu. What would you like?”
You look at the server quizzically and ask, “What can you make?”
She says, “We can make whatever you’d like. This is a really good restaurant. Our chef is amazing.”
Do you continue to chat with the server to figure out what you can order, or do you leave?
Either way, you likely feel frustrated, confused, or both frustrated and confused.
