RFx of the Day:
U.S. Agency for International Development
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has released an RFI which focuses on access to quality and necessary education for young girls in Mozambique.
The USAID program for Advancing Girls Education (AGE) will help widespread school reform in Mozambique. Some of the challenges girls currently face are inequitable gender norms, sexual violence in and around schools, no access to water, and the lack of school council buy-in.
The program wishes to accomplish the following intermediate results:
- Girls are safe and supported to learn and transition
- Girls champion their learning and know about sexual and reproductive education
- Educators have the skills and behaviors to increase girls’ learning.
