The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support’s Subsistence Product and Market Fresh Program is looking for information and comments on providing fresh bread and bakery items to the Department of Defense on which to base a future IDIQ solicitation.

The upcoming opportunity will engage a commercial firm that will supply exclusively fresh bread and bakery products to military customers in Maryland.

Contractors must provide items that conform to the following freshness requirements:

  1. Must contain mold inhibitor levels as allowed by the USDA.
  2. Products must maintain appropriate temperatures according to commercial standards.
