RFx of the Day:
National Park Service

As RFx professionals with clients in a wide variety of industries, we keep an eye out for new opportunities to drop. With a focus on National park utility rehabilitation, this one caught our attention.

The National Park Service has released a sources sought notice (SSN) “for the purpose of conducting market research and obtaining industry information.” This SSN concerns rehabilitating utilities, lodging, and landscaping at Big Spring National Park, located within the Ozark National Scenic Riverway.

This is not a Request for Proposals, but interested parties should submit a six page maximum document with the following information:

  1. Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email.
  2. Business type including NAICS code (i.e. SBA, HUBZone, SDVOSB, WOSB, EDWOSB).
  3. Bonding Capacity.
  4. Information demonstrating experience and capability on projects of same or similar size, scope, and constructed under similar conditions.

The National Park Services is looking to issue an official RFP or RFQ come Summer 2021.
