Architect of the Capitol

As RFx professionals with clients in a wide variety of industries, we keep an eye out for new opportunities to drop. With a focus on construction services, this one caught our attention.

The U.S. Architect of the Capitol has released a small business set-aside RFP seeking rapid construction services for various Capitol Complex facilities. The majority of the work will occur at the following locations:

  • United States Capitol
  • House Office buildings
  • Senate Office buildings
  • Library of Congress buildings and grounds
  • United States Supreme Court
  • United States Botanic Garden
  • S. Capitol Power Plant
  • Capitol Grounds
  • Capitol Police buildings, grounds, and security

This contract will include various construction services with task order amounts ranging from $1,000 to $1,000,000. The total contract amount will not exceed $25,000,000. The base period begins on March 1, 2021 and extends until February 22, 2022. After the initial base period, the contract includes four option periods extending through February 28, 2026.
