As RFx professionals with clients in a wide variety of industries, we keep an eye out for new opportunities to drop. With a focus on renewable electricity generation, this one caught our attention.

The City of Chicago Department of Assets, Information, and Services is looking to enter into an Electricity Sales Agreement (ESA) with an electricity supplier. This ESA will include electricity supply to power the City of Chicago’s operations for a five-year period. The project will begin January 1, 2022. 

The project goal is to identify and select a respondent who can provide “electricity generated from renewable generation sources,” and will allow “the City to meet its commitment to 100% renewable energy generation by 2025 for municipal electricity generation.”
